I teach math and dance in a high school in Chicago. I have a passion for learning and teaching and I hope to convey that to my students.

I titled this page off of the often-cited phrase in mathematical proofs, but it has more meaning to me than that. I have always felt that learning math, teaching math, and doing math were not enough for me. I’ve always had a innate desire to move and to learn more about myself through movement and through my body. While book-learning – math, in particular – is necessary for us all to learn in order to live productive lives, it is insufficient. We all need to find ways to connect with our own bodies and, therefore, with each other.
